Photoimageable solder mask ink is composed of alkali-soluble photo-curable resin, reactive diluent, photoinitiator, thermosetting resin, curing agent, pigment, filler, various additives and solvents. It is used for the manufacture of double-sided or multi-layer solder mask Graphical UV ink, which acts the same as UV solder mask ink, prevents unnecessary solder from attaching to the printed circuit board during wave soldering, and remains permanently on the printed circuit board to improve the gap between the lines and the entire board surface. Excellent electrical insulation, and at the same time, it can prevent the line from being oxidized, free from water vapor erosion and scratches by foreign objects, thereby prolonging the service life of the printed circuit board. The coating methods of photoimageable solder resist ink are as follows: screen printing method, curtain coating method, and spraying method. The screen printing method has relatively little investment and can be operated semi-automatically or manually, so the screen printing method is basically adopted in China, and most of them are semi-automatic or manual.
